Badminton Lachine

Our activities

Badminton Lachine offers open play, training sessions suited to all levels, as well as tournaments and events. A great opportunity to improve and play with fun!

Competitive Adult

The Competitive Adult training is designed for advanced players aiming for regional and provincial competitions. Led by experienced coaches, it offers an intensive program focused on technique, strategy, endurance, and speed of execution.

Recreational Adult

The Club offers recreational badminton nights for its members, with a coordinator to oversee the matches. Shuttlecocks are provided, and each time slot is tailored to a specific skill level (beginner, intermediate, or advanced) to ensure balanced and enjoyable games.

Family Recreational

Family Recreational sessions allow parents and children to play together in a friendly atmosphere. Designed to introduce families to badminton, they help develop basic skills while providing a fun and accessible physical activity for everyone.

Youth Program

The Youth Program supports players aged 6 to 17 through five skill levels, providing a progression from recreational play to high-level competition. Structured and supervised, it focuses on technical and strategic development, preparing young athletes for the challenges of badminton, including competitive.

Guests

Guests can join recreational groups without registration by paying on-site for a session. This flexible format allows for play without commitment, based on availability. It's ideal for discovering the club or enjoying a free-play session at your own pace.

Levels of play

Beginner I

  • Introduction to the basics of badminton.
  • Learning the grip and the first strokes (clear, drop shot).
  • Fundamental footwork and understanding the rules of the game.

Beginner 2

Advanced

  • Training focused on anticipation and adaptation during matches.
  • Optimization of technical and tactical performance.
  • Work on quick decision-making and managing long rallies.

Competitive

  • Preparation for regional and provincial tournaments.
  • Intensive training focused on endurance, speed, and tactics.
  • Development of pressure management and concentration during matches.

Elite

  • Excellence level for players aiming for high performance.
