Tribute to Reynald Comeau

The Badminton Lachine Club wishes to pay tribute to one of its very first members, Reynald. For those who knew him, Reynald will always be remembered as a smiling, welcoming, and generous person. He was the go-to racket mixer! Reynald had a special gift for reaching out to those sitting alone on the bench and bringing them into the group. Many members kept coming to the club because of Reynald. Some were fortunate enough to play badminton with him for over 20 years! He even served as our photographer at some of our tournaments—always as a volunteer, of course. Reynald was full of life, and his joy was contagious. We have all felt the void left by his absence on our courts for some time now. Reynald, you were our ray of sunshine for so long; we now hope you continue to shine up above.
